Let me exclude bands from recommendations

There are some musicians that appear as recommended event again and again - and I'm sure that I do not like their music.
It would be a great enhancement of the bandsintown-app if I had the chance to "dislike" recommendations and thus to improve the quality of future recommendations.

Multiple locations notifications.

Allow users to receive notifications for multiple locations so if I travel frequently to another city I can see if one of my favorite bands is coming there while still having a location at my home area.

Events disappear after they start

Fans have noted that after my events begin, they disappear from my website. This seems like an easy thing to fix. They should disappear once the event has concluded. Is there a way for me to change that setting?

Need for a calendar with all artists gigs listed in one place and not as separate widgets, need it for social media as well

We are a label that has over 28 artists and we think this would be a great addition and not sure why i hasnt been implemented for labels r agency accounts, we need a calendar that shows all our artists gigs on it that we can share to social media, not just an API or widget for a website, as this is a huge marketting avenue for our artists. We have to publish their gigs every week and there is no point in making a post for each gig, we haev to post al gigs in one post. A link to a full calendar of our artists gigs would be amazing.

also for the website widget or api, we need that as well once the site is built and launched, we would like each of our artists to have their gigs on their pages, but also one page that lists all their gigs, and not as seperate widgets, as that will become a long long long page. it needs to be a calendar type view with the gigs listed on it. this would be the best way to market all the gigs and get the exposure needed.

we hope this can be implemented soon as this is very important for marketting our artists gigs an not sure why its not already part of the amazing service you offer.

New followers location

This could be out there and I don't know about it, but I would like to know where new followers are from. When a new follower follows, I would like to know which country and town they are from please.

Bandcamp Integration

It would be nice if Bandcamp integration can be added to Bandsintown so fans can import Bandcamp followings, similar to the current Spotify and Facebook integration. Bandcamp is still a very important platform for indie music distribution and discovery.

Event posts • notify artists of each event to ‘accept’ and add to their calendar

It is very archaic that when an event promoter creates an event post with the line up, and all of the proper marketing copy. That the event doesn’t get sent to each artist to ‘accept’ & automatically post onto their artist page.

Each artist separately adding the same event, attaching with flyers etc takes up more server space, is time consuming, leads to mistakes incorrect information being posted by the artists.

Please update your system so events can be sent to
Everyone in the line up.

Not requiring each person to reenter.

Live stream alerts

Would really appreciate the ability to turn off live stream alerts. I've had to turn off push notifications for Bandsintown because of the constant live stream alerts I get on a daily basis, and I do not care to be notified about live streams. I consider those alerts to be spam, and without being able to turn them off I am missing show postings, which defeats the entire purpose of the app.

Please add the ability to turn these notifications off so that I can go back to enjoying the app like I was pre-pandemic!

Extend features to stand up comedy

I love Bandsintown ! I wish there was a similar app (or a space in the same app) dedicated to stand up comedy.

I imagine it would be relatively easy to develop that, at least for all the concert locations you already cover, since most of them also host stand up comedy shows. It would be so nice to be able to follow all my favorite comedians and never miss their shows in my area … do you think you could do that ?

I see that a number of comedians already come up in results when you specifically search for them. But it would be even (much) better to have a dedicated section / genre + suggestions etc… and all the great features you have for musicians. This would be more than welcome !

Event thumbnails

I would LOVE if there was an option to show the event images as thumbnails in the widget list! I have a number of different groups listed and it would be great if it were possible to see the different band/event images at a glance.

Tidal connection support

Similar to Spotify connection, please add Tidal. It's an excellent service that actually supports and promotes artists with higher royalties. By supporting their ecosystem you would be supporting the artists too. Thanks!

Event organizer/promoter oriented CRM-like manage the tool?

I see all sorts of tools for managing fans and self-promoting events for artist.

How about tools for artist to manage an event promoter contact list and their related events/festivals/concert date of events.

I am really looking for a tool to reverse the norm of what I see out in the CRM options on the internet. I want a populated annual calendar that shows me all the desired (and entered in) events scheduled for the year and future years reoccurring annual event dates. Then when looking at the annual calendar with events shown for dates .. I drill into the date and open the event listed and that pops open the event contact's info (phone, email, alternate contact, phone numbers, and other event info like phone number at the event grounds, URL of event, facebook address, twitter, instagram, map to location that can be used for directions, and more of typical event info. Since most annual events are on the same weekend or days of the year, the calendar should allow entry like this to set future occurrences automatically. So I want to look a scheduled events for 2023 or 2024, I can just look ahead in my calendar and see these as entered.

Mainly.. the need is more event calendar view driven instead of contact or fans or event promotion post booked event. This request is driven by the need to enter known annual events/festivals/concerts/etc. into a calendar (along with contact info) to allow bands to view and plan, search for events to fill open dates and make contact with event promoter without searching online, finding the dates and if the date is of interest, contacting the number listed. This is way to timely of a task to repeat over and over.

If you have such a tool, that would be of great interest. If not, please point me in a direction you might consider beneficial for fulfill this need. I have done many CRM and Event Calendar like free trials and none seem to link the annual calendar view to the promoter in this way. I am sure come of them might work with custom coding but, not interested in spending an enormous amount of time of this... could be spent search the internet instead as mentioned above.

TBA selection

It would be great if you had a TBA selection. Sometimes you have a specific date but the times haven't been decided yet for the performance

Email Campaigns

Unfortunately I do not see any concrete benefit in using your email campaign tool. I used it twice to compare with other promotional tools we use and the feedback I reeived from my digital marketing team is 'Most young people will likely open a text than an email unless its coming from the artist own newsletter". Also the use of this tool can be costly considering its low ROI. It would take several campaigns over the course of weeks, perhaps a month or two for the info to resonate and you then run the risk of having it viewed as spam (the tool should provide feedback on this) or being blocked. Perhaps Bandsintown should reevaluate this feature. As a member of A2IM, RIAA, MusicBIZ, etc. I would not recommend this feature to my colleagues
